The Chef

The kitchen of the M`AR De AR Hotels is delivered to Chef António Nobre, who has contributed a lot of quality to the art of Alentejo cuisine, exploiting with great skill all the aromas of the region, as we can see in his book. Author "Entre Poejos e Coentros", published in 2010.

Among its many activities, Chef António Nobre is a confrere of the Gastronomic Confraternity of Alentejo; Since 2002, he has been attending the prestigious Congress of San Sebastian, "The Best of Gastronomy"; Was a pioneer in 2002 in the initiative of elaborating a menu of the various oils of the country; In 2004 he received the "Panela ao Lume" award; In 2006 he published the book "Portuguese Chefs, the best recipes" and received 2 gold certificates in the "Gastronomy with Port Wine" competition. In addition, he collaborates in a variety of newspapers and specialty websites, and in September 2006 he was the chef chosen to make the "Appetites" page of the Expresso newspaper.

In cooperation with the Norwegian Fisheries Council (NORGE) "Simple recipes with fresh and dried salted cod"; Was invited by Chef Henrique Sá Pessoa to participate in the TV program of RTP 2 "Entre Pratos" and plans to publish another cookbook titled "70 practical recipes for the whole family".
