The Cultural Center and the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation

“The Eugénio de Almeida Forum is a renovated space designed for the arts and culture. It was inaugurated July 2013, after a complete renovation of the old Palace of the Inquisition. It also includes the beautiful Painted Houses and the old Eugénio de Almeida Forum.

Two floors are exclusively dedicated to temporary exhibitions, in a beautiful contemporary space.

Outside the building there is the Patio of Honor, the Northern Garden and the Garden of the Painted Houses. This last one has a gallery with a mural dating from the second half of the XVI century, which is unique in the country.”
