Clipping: XicoFran exhibits at M'ar De Ar Aqueduto
The watercolorist XicoFran inaugurated his exhibition "Sharing Jazz" last Saturday at the hotel M'Ar De Ar Aqueduto, where the author, born in Angola but with strong roots in the Alentejo, pays tribute to this musical style.
According to the writer Luísa Ramos, in "Sharing the Jazz", shows to the public until December 30, "artist / master manages to have his or her track record for the clothes of the modern time and Évora will be able to appreciate the colors and intersections. It recreates with rigor the melody of the enchantment (the jazz), that cradles the most needy of peace and harmony ".
For the administrator of this hotel unit Paulo Soares Oliveira, XicopFran, as a watercolor artist, has a "long artistic journey, recreating with great chromatic charm and vibrant plasticity the atmosphere of the environments, sounds, rhythms and melodic movements of Jazz."
"As jazz is the musical genre of improvisation and freedom of interpretation, so is the work of the master XicoFran, inviting us to travel, perhaps improbable, to meetings and disagreements, thus giving expression to his creative freedom and representation," he continues.
The opening act of the exhibition "Sharing Jazz", which was attended by many of the artist's family and friends, was attended by the celebrated artist Fernando Pereira, "Lord of the Voices" and the interpretation of a jazz solo by the dancer contemporary Daniela Casimiro.
The event also featured the Yori brand of women's clothing, based on the standards of the artist's work, and the Capotes Emotion company from Barcelona also attended.
